Introducing New Glory's very first Wall of Honor selection, Timothy Anderson.
Tim currently serves as a fire captain locally, and as a deputy fire chief for the United States Air Force Reserve at Beale Air Force Base.
In the military, he helps lead a 24-man team to be ready to deploy anywhere in the world at a moment's notice. He and his team provide fire protection for airbases, which is essential for military aircraft to be able to fly their missions. His team's mission is to provde fire and emergency medical services to military and civilian personnel wherever they may be deployed.
In Tim's eyes, his duty is to serve the public in any way possible, regardless of the nature of any emergency he responds to.
When he's not on duty, he spends time with his wife Lacey and their three young sons. He is definitely a big-hearted family man who knows how to enjoy the little things in life. One of this many hobbies include coaching his sons' soccer and baseball teams.
Additionally, he volunteers with the Firefighters Burn Institute to help raise money for burn victims. Tim was recently diagnosed with cancer, so he and his wife have been heavily involved with the Firefighter Cancer Support Network, where they are currently receiving support themselves. They remain optimistic that they will one day be in a position to pay in forward to other familites facing their challenges.
